Be careful, the ads come out nonstop even if you put ads to a minimum. Service that borders on the illegal.
I do not recommend this service as the ads appear repeatedly without limit in many videos.
I have proof in case any moderator asks for a link.

Ohh noo its against wjunction ToS, please dont ban me mr.tango.

First of all i wrote that we will release an update very soon. With new features and better ads.
But why do i even care go to hosts which pay you after 3 weeks and closes after 6months.

Please send me a recording via pm and in best case which ads are causing the problem.
We cant fix something without knowing the cause

I don't know what happened, I just know that my account was deleted without any explanation, I lost everything that I had, I wanted at least an explanation from the streamtape
 
Hey, recently I noticed a lot of slow or slower servers.
Basically the thing is, I upload video (.mkv) so I suppose it has some kind of load balance? Since more users upload it for sure. And still, after hours or days video will take longer to load a when it does it buffers a lot.

Also happens with .mp4 files (which is understandable I would say - unique file so no load balance). I upload a lot of .mp4 files (1350bitrate, 720p).

Here is one example, I can probably get more examples within days if needed.

Hey,

thank you for all the details in this report.

Shouldnt be connected but as i wrote we will soon allow an higher bitrate and we already testing the config on a few servers ---> maybe bug here

Because of the high temps atm OVH has a lot of issues with overheating atm --- could be the cause

Overload i dont really see tbh, but maybe you can provide over the next days some example links so we can look which servers have the problem.
 
Hey guys,

i know long time since we did any update or anything but our first goal was always to be a stable host with fast payouts.

But after long testing we can announce that we upgraded our bitrate, which means videos will have a higher quality. The default bitrate will be 1360kbit, but you can upload up to 1560kbit with any encoding.

Maybe we will even upgrade these values but first we want to be sure that its stable.

Alot of other things will follow over the next weeks / months like custom ads. We will use this summer to improve and upgrade streamtape.

As always bugs can happen so feel free to report them.

And yes we will slow down with the advertisement as well we have some meetings with our adnetworks next week.

As always im thankful for all the users who are here since april 2020 and hope new will follow.

Without being too narcissistic, i think streamtape is the most stable videohost.

Very good to know that there will be improvements in the amount of ads, looking forward to it. Streamtape is really good.
 
Hi. I have a site with over 5 million traffic per month. I've been using your service as my main video player for over a year now. The reason why is because the amount of ads(on minimum ads setting) are lower than other services. Yesterday I noticed that the amount of ads has been increased, and i think this will really affect my traffic going forward.

Do you plan to keep it this way from now on or is this just a temporary thing? Sorry for my english.

Hey actually we didnt make any changes on our end. Could you maybe send me a recording and some more informations via pm like browser, adblock etc.
