1468 views - CPM $2,67 (It was okay and considering count was promising, that was nice to see)
2009 views - CPM $1.89 (Increase in views VS previous day, much lower CPM, still acceptable)
But today
795 views - CPM $1.20
I understand CPM is volatile, but there is no way I could have such low CPM at any point of the day and I realized in the last two days CPM constantly changed (ticked up ticked down a little, and I know it's normal) but today it looks like it's fixed at $1.20 which makes it look like even more... (I don't want to say suspicious) but unnatural? With same amount of views I would be looking probably at 40%-50% lower earnings than in last two days.. Hmm. And even if I only came back in the last two days, CPM stayed stable at around high $2-low $3s even with low views, and now a sudden collapse.
I think StreamFlash could be a good host with good counting but high drops in CPM is wild.
Thanks a lot for the detailed feedback - really appreciate it.
What you see in StreamFlash is 100% real data pulled directly from the ad network APIs. We don’t use fixed CPM tables or artificial smoothing. Your revenue is calculated strictly from what your traffic actually generates, and you receive your exact percentage from that.
CPM here is naturally volatile. It can be $0.50 today and $10 tomorrow. It can be $5 now and $1 an hour later. That’s how real-time ad auctions work. Two days is honestly not enough data to evaluate performance properly.
Also important: our CPM is based on raw, total impressions — not limited unique views (like 1–2 views per IP per day, as some sites do).
If one visitor triggers 10 ad impressions, all 10 are counted. That can lower the displayed CPM, but total revenue stays accurate. Some platforms cap impressions, which inflates CPM visually, but total earnings remain similar.
If you'd like full transparency, we can temporarily run only your own ads for 1–2 days — no admin ads, no cut — so you can see exactly what your traffic produces 100%. We’re fully open to custom setups, better rev share, or even letting you run your own ad tags. That flexibility is something most hosts simply don’t offer.
Our model is performance-based, not fixed CPM. That means sometimes you earn more than expected — sometimes less — but it’s always fair and based on real demand.
Let’s test properly over a longer period and optimize from there. We’re open to collaboration.
