PS : Forget about filesharing bro otherwise you will fuck your money

For Filesharing startup you need following

1) Minimum 25-50K Investment money to buy B/W , Hardware, Affiliate payment etc.
2) Arrange a Good Lawyer, as you may need it soon.
3) Be mentally prepared to suffer whatever the outcome is
4) Look for good DCs with nice peering to whole international locations. Don't count on 100TB deals

Warning : Lots of people failed with a filehosting startup, there are examples here in WJ too. I can't mention username. If you have 25K-50K invest it on some offline business, it will be much better.

Small eg:
600gbit speed fiber optics multi ISP line(that means 100gbit/isp * 6 = 600gbit)
(above one is specification of Rapidshare have it's own Datacenter(DC))

It is now simplified by CDN(Content delivery networks) - Hotfile, Fileserve and most using CDN only, that means you don't need to think about anything, Yes hardware/bandwidth and allocated by them but you need to pay for bandwidth Eg: $0.1/Gb or according to contract
Hardware :
Hard disk:
if you are good in marketing skills and ready to give what the people expect(atleast first downloaders, because downloader is exponentiall more than uploaders then you need 100tb to some petobyte of hard disk/day)

RAM:
You need to calculate according to now of users

Yes Lawyer is needed to maintain cases against your corporate - Rapidshare, Hotile already paid million $$$ as penalty to media companies

Lot more........
