Finally Wjunction did a change.. Hahahaha this should have had been done, long back.. We are too slow in moving with the current internet pace..

Anyways its ok not bad..
 
The new skin looks good. About time WJ had a major design overhaul. ;)

I have a few suggestions, about the Chatbox and other random things:

  • Align the messages in the CB as it was done in V2 and do away with the colon next to the usernames as it won't be required once the messages are aligned. Looks shit atm: http://i.imgur.com/OHSqj.png
  • Change the colour of top and bottom border of CB messages to #EEEEEE. Before and after: http://i.imgur.com/OHSqj.png | http://i.imgur.com/gIELN.png
  • Change the background color of shouts addressed to us to #fdf5d5. That way it would actually get our attention and it looks better too. Here's how it looks: http://i.imgur.com/El3Yz.png
  • Decrease the height of the CB textbox and buttons to 20px or less. A border radius of 4px or less would look good too.
  • Some of the things look too rounded. This quick reply box could do without the rounded corners, for example. Oh and it needs a 5px top margin too (the space between 'Message:' and the box). http://i.imgur.com/S8jN5.png
  • Use CSS sprites and reduce the no. of images, there are some gradients that could be done using CSS. http://i.imgur.com/zG5gl.png
  • The big icons below the header should link internally to the respective sections rather than loading the whole section in a new page.
  • Any chance the big icons can be made smaller? They are a bit too big atm.
That's all for now. I'll report more issues as I encounter them. ;)

Just wondering...

Can we make it a yearly thing were we get a new theme once a year because we have been stuck with the old one for far too long.
 
lol check the financial side, you can't be making expensive themes every year.
it don't work, I wish money did grow on trees
 
I am surprised to see the new design totally. Excited but still it is going to take time for me to adjust with the new design as I was addicted to the previous one. This one looks completely promising and amazing too. Grats to the team who have worked on this one.

i like it, but whenever a wJ tab is open, by browser refuses to change size horizontally. Other than that, and that a few things are slightly larger than i usually like, it is a definite improvement.

Here's My Review :
When i saw the logo, my first impression was "duh.." i was expecting something different here.
Why is the "city" thing coming up in all the headers ?? :|
What does it have to do with "Webmaster's" ??
But nevertheless, its a nice change from the previous header.
And i personally feel that these button's colors are too bright, might be changed to a decent/less bright color.

Its not looking pro, that too for a webmaster forum.

And for the chatbox, i feel its too busy.

With the menubar having so many links/texts and having the cb right below it, isn't looking good.
I think the spacing should be checked into. Make it less busy.
Also, please change the width. Its too small. I liked the previous skin for that reason.

And why are the links on one's profile "unclickable" ?

That's my opinion, overall its a great effort.
My few cents to make it 100% awesome ;)

First off, nice review bro (y) but someone actually requested in the theme suggestions thread to keep the same logo and I think this logo will stick with WJunction for ever now. I think the buttons are okay but thats our personal opinions. Finally for the Chat Box and Latest Post features I feel they are a little cramped also, I think also with the super long thread titles it limits the space even lower. But nice review anyhow.
