My site, industrydead.com seems to be down only for me? I've checked with other people and its up for them.

I've been patient for 2days thinking it was my DNS, so ive flushed it numerous times, but its still inaccessible.

Can someone offer me some help? :)

Check your hosts file and see if there is an entry concerning your site , if yes then delete it
If site is still down for you , then switch to google dns

Your site should then appear online to you as well:)

How do i switch to the Google DNS? go to godaddy.com and change it? :) Thanks!

Unless you mean my computers DNS?

It didn't work :( Its still offline :(

Odd because i have no internet connection on VPS either.. different host although.

Maybe you banned your IP on the server somehow? Have you thought of that, try accessing it via proxy or something to see if it loads for you.

It loads for sure.

Right now i've tried

Changing DNS to Google Public DNS
Flushed my DNS
Tested via Proxy
Unplugged internet for 30 seconds
Waited 24hours (not 48)

Nothing is working yet! I'm still searching for answers but none have worked yet :(

Try editing your firewall in your router, move the slider from high protection to low. If there is a form where you can insert "safe" sites/I.P's put your site in there. That could be the problem (common with Verizon Fios users if you are one).

The site is up for me fyi.

Its down again... contacted my host once more...

@Moggy thanks for the help although!! :):)

Lol, what i said was try to use a ms-dos prompt

Code:
C:\>nslookup industrydead.com
C:\>ping industrydead.com
C:\>tracert industrydead.com

you can then better see and show whats going on.

but because you said it was fixed, and for some reason my post wasn't showing, so i deleted my reply.

I don't use Verizon, we don't even have that here. I use Shaw. Only other service around here to my knowledge is Telus Optik, and Bell? Rogers maybe..

also check your DNS zone, it shows a red flag

Note:
i see you are using wordpress, few plugins might be blocked you via server due to mod_rules.

Yea? I haven't really had this issue, until yesterday, when i had made a couple posts, tried to edit one, and this started happening.

Only plugin i think that would have this problem is maybe BackUpBuddy but this has never been a problem.

Trace complete.

As far as i can see the DNS is correct on you computer, on the trace it looks like your getting blocked just at the end of the track, only one that can solve this is your host.

maybe your host did some tweak to their server software. anyway i think only your host could help you about your problem.
we can only guess here
