Sick and tired of the kids running around WJ

I suggest a infraction or a ban for the following:

Posting in a Advertisement thread without any intention of buying rather then slander the OP's thread with childish comments.
I am just asking out of respect for each other, be it your a adult or not, act like a gentleman.
If you wouldn't want people bashing on your sales with false and ridiculous claims without evidence then don't do it to another.
I don't see how hard it is in present times to act more properly.
Even 7th graders I teach know better then some so called older teens or young adults here.
I am disappointed, moderators are fast to dismantle a possible scam and close it within seconds of opening. However when it comes to people who loitering post to cause negative damage for no good, but ill reason of seeming cool just sickens me at the point where I feel the need to be online every second to report any post with the particular issue.
Without doubt I think no warning should be given but a straight few day ban, maybe 1 to 7 days depending on moderators choice.

And to those people doing it, enough is enough. You are causing other to potentially flame. You say stuff you assume or you want to poke fun at, which I am sure the content poster is not going to take too lightly, it is disrespectful to the forum user. I don't know how more broad I can put my point.

It is not called freedom.
I am not sure where you think freedom is coming from.
1) If your from USA, your really off, because it doesn't matter how you vote. You don't make the choice it depends how the politician will be effected. If one has more pros then cons, then the politician will go with the one which best suits him or her.
Recently with a election, my towns former governor didn't win and signed a bill which he didn't support, but he did it cause he was pissed.
2) It does not violate your freedom, it protects the sellers who try to aim for quality service.
3) You post is full of alot of flaws, but since I do not think it would be right to dismantle it co completely even if possible, I have one comment. Your post is basically a logic of a child. I'm not just saying this to attack you. but I take social worker classes. I don't just learn about children thought process, but development across a lifespan.

What gives anyone the right to live, it is earned for the time being. Who gives you the right talk ill of someone you don't know, does it make you feel better, you must be sick in the head. It is not freedom which gives such rights. Does a infant in a mother belly have freedom? It is human none the less. You talk about freedom as if you live in a child's fantasy. Then tell me why doesn't the human child in a mother stomach not get to choose if he or she dies. Why everyday we live we are closer to death? We don't have freedom. It is nothing but a mere illusion.
 
Since my registration I have been heavily browsing and have seen what you describe happen quite often. A user offering a service like the one they post within, only to slander, and try to influenza people to purchase their own.

That, in my book, is a red flag. As if I were offering a service, I would be worried about my customers, not trolling others threads.
 
@ JMimic & Era We try our best, but if you see something you do not like or think it is against the rules, the REPORT it.

We CANNOT go through every thread after every new post, we rely on you as members to assist us.
 
I have to agree. I'm not really sure what happened. It was a complete mess and then we wrote new rules for the marketplace area. They were enforced and the whole marketplace was a lot cleaner. I think it's the staff that need to get a lot more strict again. After the new rules were introduced I was removing what felt like hundreds of replies of people giving reviews, their personal opinions and wishing luck. It was a lot better for a month or two but with the change in staff it's become relaxed again.

As far as reporting it goes I've seen staff reply in topics where their were people wishing good luck above their posts. They shouldn't need to be reported in such cases. The staff should just remove them.
 
I understand, but I am seeing such too often. I do admit I ask challenging question myself to make a host look bad, but I try my best to stop now.

I appreciate the work all the staff is putting in, rather I should say I am thankful for the effort.

I am just very concerned with the post with ill intentions. Call it just a post, but in my thoughts they are ill without any doubt. Post are part of a forum without post, a forum would be worth nothing. I just wanted to get out what has been troubling me about a group of users in WJ.
 
There's a thread like this 3 times a year, don't like the site gtfo, nobody's forcing you to stay here. -_- Although I agree with you +1
 
@OP: seriously loled at this...uve been here for like a month at max and ur already sick and tired? weve been here for a LONG LONG time....ive been here for abt 2 yrs now....imagine how we feel....:P
 
That can't be stopped, it would be stopped if members, those who are selling wouldn't ask other members to bump their threads. Those who are posting "Good luck" and shit like that are mostly friends of the seller. Because he asked them to post reply in his thread to give him more views, and bigger opportunity to sell it.

It is not that I don't like the forum, I love the forum to a extent. I am just asking for maybe any idea anyone has to fix this issue.

@kenshin There is a serious problem if a 1 month user sees this issue. Thanks for making your point. I have been part of this forum as a guest. I usually used Wjunction to find the good deals I can't find elsewhere as a client of many host. However recently, many host have re branded. Which I don't get it is like a fashion trend. I can imagine, just times it by a two digit number.

I have lecture in a bit, so I guess I'm logging off.

Yes, but sometime ill post are posted, but are ended with good luck. None the less the original idea was a ill intention.

If they want to make a review, maybe there should be a review section, and users search the reviews section. Just my thought.

I am making a edit* - I have underlined a idea I have to better organize reviews.
 
Yea happy I use to have daily cleaning sprees checking almost every marketplace topic to make sure there was no useless crap. It was very clean and maintained at one point.
 
Please report every single post you see that's childish and break any of the rules.

Infraction and warning will be given and if the person continue with the childish behaviour or breaking the rules a ban will be given..

Can't I tried before but their's a 30 second flood control to report topics and it take ages to report topics as a result. If you get that removed or reduced to 5 seconds then sure ok

I am sure people will be concerned with abusing the report system if lowered, but I must say that lowering the time to wait is the best of two evils, lowering time or having ill post. A simple solution is probably already well known if it is abused, warning -> infraction -> ban.

I'm just so concerned about WJ that during a lecture I am logged in. Regards.

There's enough moderators already. We can't go around and check every single post so that's why everyone has to be better to report the posts instead of complaining, we're trying to do our best and I don't know if you've noticed ,but if you ever reported a thread or a post you should see how fast the report get solved :P

If people would abuse the report system, it would just result in an infraction or even worse.

We are not like other forums, we're not really into banning everyone. I personally think that everything can be solved with a kindly and fair conversation.
