Show summary as default instead of full post in WordPress

Hello,
I think title said all the things..

In my website's Index Page OR any category page, I have put 5 posts only to show per page as default.

You can check: SunehraDownloads ? HD Movies, PC Games, XBox, PS Games Free Download | Softwares, Applications, Games, Movies download

But problem is that it's showing full posts on main page or any category page instead of just summary of 5-6 lines then READ MORE button, Can anyone help me with that please? Thanks

its all about
where you put <!--more--> or any other short code at the the time of posting

if its alright just search for <?php the_content(); ?> on index.php
and replace it with <?php the_excerpt(); ?>

I can't see that code you given on root/index.php OR my theme/index.php
