So many countries seem to be focused on the wrong path of banning porn, when the real problem is sports.

Sports promote nationalism, violence, racism and destroys society.

It also leads to many on field injuries and deaths

And can cause off the field deaths of spectators as well as increased depression

It also leads to cover ups in crimes and reduced sentences.

There seems to be no real call by anyone or any government to ban sports so that all those things are reduced and society can move forward faster.

You are very wrong, sports are fighting against all that things.
Many players are giving money to charity and helping building hospitals and other things...

if we would use your logic's we ban traveling.

Sports keep people in shape at the age of 13 i weighed nearly 200 lbs, "Heavy for a young teen"

I started first string in my towns foot ball team JV, Over the years i lost a lot of viewable weight, Im now 22 i weigh 185 and im slim and healthy & in shape.

If i would have never signed up for football i would have been huge prob.

Certain sports have certain work outs some are good for you, I ran 4 miles every morning & afternoon during my younger years of foot ball.

Sports Entertainment is not the issue.

People are the issue. People are the ones who make the decisions to commit crimes, to be racist, to destroy and degrade society. Sports are nothing more than entertainment and occupation for hundreds of thousands / millions of people world-wide.

Sports shouldn't be banned. We should instead be focusing on why society is the way it is. What makes people do what they do. There are many things that can be done. Getting rid of sports is not one of them.

Good topic, thanks for it.

I think sports are stupid and often dangerous, but I don't think they should be banned.

In free societies we should be able to engage in potentially dangerous behavior so long as everyone involved who could be harmed has consented and is intelligent enough to be aware of the risks. Even if you don't like the philosophy that sports encourage you still expect the freedom to read things like Mein Kampf. Free expression of ideas (whether or not you agree with them) is an essential part of a free society.

Banning sports isn't really the answer to any of these issues but I guess you were being sarcastic in the original post anyways

Sports aren't my cup of tea, but this is a bit silly. Sports don't cause those things to happen, those things just happen, it's already there. Sports are just another place for bad things to happen.

I think your porn's safe man.
