You’ll see people offering expensive SEO services. You can pay for it, or you can do it on your own. I haven’t ever paid for SEO, and still achieved top ranks for extremely competitive keywords. Here’s what you need to have a site optimized for search engines:

- Lots of relevant links pointing to your site.
- Lots of relevant text on the front of your site. Make sure your text relevantly matches the keywords in your Meta fields.
- Consistent updates, and don’t copy/paste from other sources. Just rewrite it or find someone to update for you at a small cost.
- Utilize headline tags <hl> for headlines that are your keywords.
- Make some keywords bold <b> or strong <s> in your text writing to emphasize the importance. Don’t go nuts though; just emphasize a few terms or sentences here and there.
- Have an RSS feed and Sitemap available and submitted to Google’s Webmaster Tools area.
- Submit your links around the web to gain even more content relevant back links. Once Google decides that you’re an authority source for the keyword’s you’re attempting to rank for, they’ll move you higher in the search results, and your traffic should increase.
- If you run a tube site, tgp/mgp, or plug trade site, then consider also having a blog powered by Word Press on the side, and linking to it via your navigation menu. Submit the RSS and Sitemap from the blog AND your main site to Google’s Webmaster Tools.
- Make use of some social networking share tools, but be sure that the networks you chose permit, not prohibit, adult content. Don’t expect your surfer to be happy if they accidentally post your ass fisting link on Face Book and their account gets deleted. Be smart in your social network selection so you can protect your user, as you don’t want them to hate you for having to reacquire all their fake friends on the Internet again.
- Make sure your site loads fast and is user friendly.
