Sorry our billing server was under maintenance today...
Was for 2 or 3 hrs, site loading slow.

This has nothing to do with VPS.. Its on completely different node in Germany.
Also it doesn't affect any other services.

Its not like we are running everything on 1 server like some other hosts.
 
I advise this host really hard :) Got vps for +- 40 $/month. Fast support :) Transferred my site for free. 100% Uptime now Zero downtime. Keep it up! Good loading!
 
I hope this VPS is better than the DE reseller hosting I have from SH ... terrible!

All my sites are down for the 100th time ....

Yes all the above has been answered to you in a ticket.

Our server was getting DDOS d continuously. We were trying to fix it and we have made aware all our clients regarding this issue.

What is said above is truth -

This has nothing to do with any other of our services. One of our Germany Nodes were affected by heavy DDOS.Its fixed now.
 
So how are you going to fix it for us? There were other problems too ... like the free Softculous installed at first and then it took a week before the premium was installed. Then a server switch was made and it took time again (after errors) before Softculous worked again.

I've paid US$8.99 for a reseller account. How can I resell if these problems are not solved? Isn't a complete waste of time and money?

And it's not the first time. There are continuous problems and when I figured out a long time ago that this wasn't going to work, I asked for a refund which was refused. Instead the due date was postponed. But still I can't use it.

Give me a good offer (perhaps moving me to a VPS) with credit from the reseller account.
 
I can move you to a VPS. That is upto current due date it will be free. From next month, you have to pay as per plan.
VPS Plan will be Level 1 DE (13.99$) - I will provide a 10% recurring discount on this.

But the cpanel license cost will be yours - $15 extra.

Sorry, we don't have Windows VPS plans yet.
 
The transfer to the new server has been successful and I am up and running again.

As I still have confidence in you and Scorpio Host, I like to see if the reseller performs without too much downtime. If it fails again, then I would like to move to a VPS.

BTW Is RL reselling and Remote Desktop (Ubuntu Desktop) allowed on a VPS?
 
RL reselling or group access is not allowed. All our clients get 8 to 10 mbps speeds (from rapidshare premium) because we only allow single user private rapidleech in our vps plans.

We have still not thought of providing Remote desktop plans yet. As our plans are managed, we cannot provide support on this particular field yet.

256 MB Guaranteed Ram
512 MB Burstable Ram

FFMPEG plugin can be installed by us on request.
 
UPDATE: Moving my DE reseller didn't do much good ... sites are constantly down. I've had it with Scorpiohost!

Waste of money! I am happy though that I didn't resell to anybody yet. Imagine the headaches!

After my good experience with WebT's VPS. I'll try their shared hosting also.

UPDATE: It's not just you! http://hfadult.info looks down from here.

Second day already. Maybe it's time fro charger to explain and compensate instead of blaming his customers for turning to offshore hosting.

Well i have moved up with scorpiohost from their reseller plans to a vps now. So heres my review and experience. First went thru buying it went off without a hitch was great. Second waited for them to make my vps took a little while but it does with any host that your buying a vps from so no bad experience there. Now i got my vps went ahead onto buying cpanel license that yet again went off without a hitch an hour or so later had my cpanel setup and installed. Then i transferred my site via whm went very fast without any problems. Keep in mind my home directory was 7 gbs. Bought an additional dedicated ip got that all setup went down without any problems. Now everything is setup and good to go with phenominal page load speeds. All in all a great buy would advise any1 here to host with them.
