Holla guys, we people were talking about P2P and Scene Release what's better! so i thought lets make a thread and see your opinion what will you chose xD

so what you think! Scene Releases are better or P2P Releases?

The Scene:

The Scene is a term used to refer to a collection of communities of pirate networks that obtain and copy new movies, music, and games, often before their public release, and distribute them throughout the Internet (and previously through BBSes). Each specific subsection within The Scene has its own community and rules governing releases, and are made up of many smaller groups. These communities are referred to as scenes as well, for example the MP3 Scene, the DVDR Scene, etc. Groups gather in private IRC channels where they can easily coordinate with other members to "pre" and distribute releases. EFNet, a popular IRC network, is where most scene activity takes place today, although DALnet was also once used. This has been the case for ten years.
History

The Peer 2 Peer: (P2P)

Scene Blogs. P2P Blogs. Call ‘em what you will. Frequenters of release blogs know a thing or two about finding the freshest releases. Sites such as ZeroSec, RlsLog & ScnSrc are dedicated to bringing you the latest info on new scene releases; all without the worries of having to seed or keep a good tracker ratio. And without question; these sites beat out public torrent indexers (pre-times) by hours, and even hold their own with some of the best private trackers. Below, we take a look at an assortment of release blogs, and delve into what makes them so popular

so lets start the thread xD

Scene is better but P2P is easy to develop

If i am not wrong then all warez forums like warez-bb and dle sites like freshwap and heroturko are P2P right ?

Scene got rules. You won't get shitty rips and scene nukes bad releases but p2p doesn't.

p2p is only good for cams, TS, screeners, PPVRips and R5's. When it comes to retail dvdrip / 720p, it's always the scene.

For overall releases in general, definitely scene for me.

Most scene groups follow standards so everything is organized and most respect others work in their releases meaning they don't steal them or try to take credit, etc.

P2P is more chaos :P not to mention when I think of P2P I think of movie encoders mainly. You don't see too many 0day, ebook, games, iso, etc. P2P groups. :( I can only think of a handful.

This thread doesn't make sense. Better in terms of what? Pre-times? Quality wise? You need to elaborate more.

Sure scene gets stuff out fast for tv shows / apps / movies etc. They also have rules that movies / tv shows need to be of certain size. But if you want quality encodes, you'll definitely go for p2p. I'm not talking about the shitty encodes like aXXo. Take for example encoders such as CtrlHD, CHD, HDC, Flawl3ss, Form, Eureka, HiFi, FrameStor -- they all produce quality work. Lately, CHD has been the first to release movies such as Battle: LA and a few others.

for movies, tv (video also) ---> scene

for all else... scene is more trusted, they are here for a long time. p2p must get more popular so that people can trust some good groups as well.

good p2p groups can be as good as scene.

just because they got good standards and they follow them. example: what should be a DVDRip etc. not like some p2p groups that rip a DVD so bad that you think that it's a CAM...

make your own thread with your information rather than bumping my thread if the thread doesn't make sense. your reply too doesn't make any SENSE!

Your original thread says "see your opinion" even though it should be "what's your opinion". I gave you mine and you told me I'm bumping your thread? Clearly, you love contradicting yourself.

"your reply too doesn't make any SENSE!" That's all you've got?
