How good do you think premium only links work?

Does it increase sales?
Does it decrease sales over time? (less people promoting you since not everyone can download)

I have a blog with 1k posts on it, not sure if sales would increase if I put premium only. Getting 1 sale very 900 downloads right now.
My links are 1 GB and total file size is 0.5-5 GB.
