Which I indeed had no intentions of publishing that kind of content, I just wanted to see what exactly they allow. Especially on a shared hosting account which means that we would all be on the same server as this, that server would be taken immediately off of the rack and lost into the atmosphere for eternity when an investigation took place.

Hmm..

There are different approaches for child porn. Many hosts will accept the accounts because they can track and report not just the IP of the visitor but the members and people hitting the web site.

Clearly the best is to say no. But some hosts take pride in shutting down not just sites but networks of people who take part in these kind of sick sites.

I would like to see what the company's view was on this? Or were they just looking to make a few extra bucks?
 
If i had a host i would personally allow child porn so i could track the IPs of people accessing it and ofcourse the IP of the person uploading and then report their asses, probably even cooperate with the police etc and mention that you have a client making this illegal shit available.
