it seems to be 3 users over the last couple of days getting the most videos submitted in those "on" hours, not sure how or why

i really wish API submitting was just turned off completely.

Like Dr Love says this is a shit show waiting to happen, I believe Pornkind was the first to come up with this idea was massively successful however it is gone now. PornX will be next for sure.

Ever heard of rate-limiting? Allowing X amount of posts per users per given timeframe is an infinity better solution. Myvidster, as shitty as that site is, at least gets that part right. All captchas do is annoy humans. You know who doesn't get annoyed by captchas? Bots.

@Hyperz Yes, we was thinking about that, but probably it will not works, because of multiple account creation.

And yes, we agree with you that captcha is annoying, but currently only working option for us.

And it seems, that this solution is working fine, people already adding videos and site is still usable.

Well you'd have tie it to an IP address and/or fingerprint, not an account.

What about AI captcha solvers and captcha solving services? Nothing is bullet proof. But one method is annoying even for people who aren't trying to abuse the site and the other one isn't.

Just disable creation of new account and pruge all accounts which was spamming or have set of trusted user

cant you just disable API submitting and see if thats causing the slowdowns

even now im trying to manually add one video and the circle thing just keeps spinning and doesnt even want to submit the video.

the captcha challenge for every submit is a joke, that is ridiculous

Is API working for you, I can't even access the API page, It goes to wordpress troubleshooting.

Even I was getting these error on all posts.

Unfortunately, we must implement captcha challenge. Now you can add videos with only captcha challenge.

Yesterday I could make 2 posts each post requiring 4 captchas (using the next button till verify) each, on the the third post there was captcha with 8 next button till verify after which it told me to try again, I fucking logged out. Now i'll have to spend probably 4hrs to make 20 posts due to captcha.

I think this is the best Idea, even most of the forums have this rule, for every user max 200-250 posts per day/24hr.
Make uploader position on request basis, If a user wants to become an uploader they need to contact you or your staff to get uploader position. You can track uploaders this way.
Regular users can make accounts and keep track of their watch history, favourites etc., without uploader status.

You can easily find the people making a large number of posts in a day or spamming, it is very easy, all the posts have the username of the person who is posting.
Is it possible to find out if the videos from a single hosting account is being posted under different usernames on your website from the video links?

I cannot even register an account with username sxcmedia it says "Username must be between 3 and 15 characters. Username must contain only lowercase a-z 0-9 characters."
