Logo needs work looks to close to pirateby I would have used a different name & use a different skin template for the forum the current one is to plain

but please edit the logo (font specially).

i think its a good mix (black, brown, white) and dont use any photoshop-presets (like your background) - better simply & good.

The template and categories are clean but the header banner does not look sharp. The pixels are cracking and the black template while does fits the site theme, it would be better for people to navigate with a white background.
