sorry, but i think thats really bad!!
The colors areent chosen good!!

The fond in the navi isn really doesnt looks good.

All in all the template looks very pieced together without any knowledge.

It looks like some old design, most of the older Websites were almost same like the one you designed in Photoshop. I can't say that your template is ugly because you need to start from something.

You shouldn't use gradients like ones you already picked, try to use "eye friendly" colors like light blue, white, etc.

And also don't use custom fonts for navigation and other parts of the templates, always chose some fonts like Verdana, Verdana is one of the most beautiful fonts ever.

There are lots of great tutorials on Pixel2Life.

Practice, and you'll become a decent Graphic Designer.

Well it's good to see you start and everyone has to start someplace.

One of the main things in making a template is too keep it simple. To do the you need to concentrate on just one font (maybe another for the logo or icons). By mixing different fonts all over the place it get's confusing and everything is competing with everything.

The next is colour. You need to decide on a colour and use it as a base. Then have a palate of 3-4 colours which work with that main one you can use. If you then stick to these colours your template will read as one and a whole.

If you look at most templates most follow these basic ideas.

Start again but try and keep everything simple. Their's a famous saying: "Less is More".
