As everyone says, first impression is the best impression. My experience in your case wasn't good. I really didn't find anything interesting or new on your site. And you, being a designer yourself, should obviously have a amazing design, which isn't the case here. And i am pretty much surprised that you made this http://www.maxedoutdesigns.com/images/portfolio/streetseekers.png.
The logo doesn't match the design.

The social buttons on the bottom needs to be changed.

I could definitely ask you to make a few more changes, but it would end up in creating a all new site, lol :P
J/k, if you really wanna improve your site, go ahead and design a professional looking theme.
 
Thanks for your comments, i understand where your coming from but this is just a portfolio for the moment as im just starting up again. The social bit is to go with the theme which i think it does.

As design, look really cool.
Good job. Ow, one thing only, look at the "stars *" from nav bar in header, is not align very well, and in the left of them you can see an image, but thats means nothing. Well done.
 
Thanks, Yeah i know the stars are not aligned but they are supposed to be like that trying to give it a more "scrap" look if you know what i mean.
 
Great site. Good Logo & Favicon. Good Layout. Good Designing. ;)
BUT, I think there is no WOW Factor in your site. I think, You being a designer there should be more of the flashy stuff around on the site that makes me wanna Hire you to get something different from what others on same niche do. (y)

Ok i see what you mean, well when i release my main website, hopefully it will be different :)... Got a lot planned for the new website! but it wont be online for a while yet.
