I'm very proud to announce IMGit.org, as an image host that has been around for quite a while now. We are online since 07-Jun-2011 16:26:40 UTC. I can doubtlessly say that we are a reliable image host.

We offer a lot to our users and you don't even have to register! It's a matter desire if you register or not, the only extra thing as a registered user is that you can keep track of your images and change IMGit's color.

Everything is open to you as a guest, you can upload multiple images at once, remote upload and use our web browser extensions.

Here is a list of features:

  • Multiple image upload - up to 10 images at once
  • Remote upload - up to 30 images at once
  • Upload a ZIP - upload a ZIP archive with 100 images in it
  • Auto-thumbnail - automatically get a thumbnail generated for your image
  • Re-size image - change the image dimensions on the fly
  • Register - become an IMGit member and keep track of your images
  • Mozilla Firefox extension for easy remote uploading and resizing on the fly
  • Google Chrome extension for easy remote uploading and resizing on the fly
  • Styles - change the look of IMGit.org (members only)
  • Uploading ADULT images is allowed

Brief explanation about members:
Once you register there are a few extra things you can do. You can manage your images easily from the Images section of the website. There you can find all uploaded images sorted by uploading time. You can delete multiple images at once, or obtain a list of links for the image selection of your choice. You can even backup all images from Images -> Settings. You will be prompted to download a ZIP archive which includes all your images.

There is a lot you can do as a member, so I suggest registering and make use of the available features.

If you think this image host would serve your needs, check it!

VERY boring UI. Cannot even comment on a single thing. I would just suggest you to go for a complete makeover(Just the GUI). JmZ recently did an image rotator kindda website and I am sure that he would just have spent merely 20-30 min on the UI and even in that limited time, he came up with a better UI than your current one. Please take the comment in a constructive way. :)

Rest are normal chev functions so not a big deal.

I have to agree with Nitish. There's really nothing on your site that makes me stay on your site.
Let us take imgur.com as an example, its simple yet awesome.
You've gotta work on the colors and the logo. Good luck on it.

I have no features in mind, but we are open to suggestions and if they are good ones, we will surely implement them. So, go ahead and post your suggestions. :)

Okay I have updated the UI as requested and tried to give it a metro look.

There's really nothing on your site that makes me stay on your site.
Well it's the first time I heard someone wanting to enjoy "staying" on an image host. Image hosts are just for quick use imo, no real reason to keep browsing an image host, hence the simple UI - fast and easy to get things done.

About the commenting on images. Really? I don't think that an image host should be compared to a website like flickr, which is made to share images INSIDE it - image hosts are meant to share images everywhere, hotlink.

I'm actually not trying to advertise the look of the image host anyway, but the functionality and huge limits it provides. Image hosting is about hosting after all.

Yeah I know many don't like it. But this is IMGit's primary color. I will be adding additional themes though, just like in the previous version.

The site is simple & clean. Good site. (y)
Though I think the site is too clean, nothing is present.
The color scheme is too dull.
There are no extra options on the site like other image hosting sites.
So, It doesn't attracts me to go on it again. >.>

I didn't know design is so important in an image host, but I got aware of it and added a few color change possibilities for registered users. Maybe you guys would like to check it out - the ones who complained about the looks.

Tip 1: When getting critique on your review thread, for heavens sake dont go into defencive mode and defend everything on your site.

Tip 2: Its not just about going into the site and be out of it quickly, if the site looks bad the user will 80% of the times not return.

To Conclude: Use a bigger variation of colors on your site, and stop defending everything.
