I think it looks really nice...The only thing i do not like is the "attention guest, welcome to applescene" however i believe this just shows up to non members right?

I just think it looks a little out of place and different from the rest of the website.

Great site overall but the design could be better. I find it kind of clustered around this area:

You want a more simplistic design for that. And as Hydrode said, no one might like the attention guest, if they like the site they will register, it makes no sense trying to force them to register and then not be active.

The navigation also needs to be re-done.

MDKR hit everything I wanted to say spot on, the site design fits but it's very cluttered. I found it a bit annoying and the style looks visually unappealing. You have a really random Macbook at the top left, ditch that :|. The logo needs work, give it some color ;). The guest banner just looks totally out of place, make it fit.

s not bad, but it doesn't particularly look like OSX, It doesn;t have that clean minimalistic finish. It's almost there, but you don't utilise whitespace, and structure effectively.
 
This was a sexy website.

I do not notice any mistakes or something that needs improvement. Overall, well done!

Now fill up your forum with some content ;)
