It would be awesome,

could be used to share things like: fonts, brushes, effect packs, c4d packs etc

EDIT: also had a mod approval system and credits whit link required

ya i think it would be nice, but as the others have said it would just open the door for warez posts and rippers i would think

I think it will result in alot of problems,as people will be posting things like fonts,c4d,tutorials etc without the consent of the designer of them, therefore it could be considered as warez

The thing is Lazor all teh things you are thinking that would be great to have posted, are all actually designed by others (including brushes,shapes,c4ds,tutorials etc)

The only way i could see it working would be to link directly to the original authors page. (example link to a page on DeviantArt or Brusheezy etc)

It would be pretty cool. We could even look into using the attachment system so we can actively monitor + delete files.

But the thought of people uploading cracks and stuff, not good.

Well I think there must be a sub-forum for resources so that it would be easy for post some nice brushes, pattern etc and people will also get a chance to show their skills and it would be great if people will start sharing some rare stuffs so that it would be nice for everyone to get a chance to use it..

My idea was to post link and credz, if this is not done then deletage of thread :) ,

Ya its great and all to give credit where credit is due.. but it would be best to contact the author of the tutorial,or whatever it may be,and ask permission. If its to be posted here, with a linkback to the original i wouldtn see the person saying no honestly. And it may bring better, pro graphic designers here if it was done that way.

Will such a section even be active? I've just browsed through the GFX Section and I've not really seen much resources (PSD'S, Brushes, etc) being shared.

@Netguy: The development section is one of the least active parts of this forum, it makes no sense adding sub-sections to it, that's going to make it look even more dead.
