Releasing my automatic uploader

This sounds good, very good tbh. I used to be an intense uploader (My uploads are at WBB, search .Hancock), I recently gave up mainly because it's a tiring and takes a lot of my time to do job and came into a little web site managing/web mastering.

Uploading has always been my favorite online hobby and always will be, so I'd be interested if you release this, but if you do want to keep it private I'd support your decision because it's not a very script to make, I bet it took you long long hours, if not days to get something like this up.

In case you'd like to share it with me, feel free to, as I said, I'd get back into uploading anytime if the job was made easier, like this. :D

why not rapidleech? sounds the same to me? Does exactly what you stated. Also, ioncube can be decoded search up the ddlcms issue, where people here completely decoded that script.

Im thinking about releasing a small/basic version of my automatic uploader script, it will be ioncube encoded. (Anyone with a ioncube encoder licence please contact me)

Is there any interest in me releasing it?

The version I will be releasing is just a simple version capable of uploading to RS only at this stage.
Can rename files to contain the site name, but cant add passwords.
Will only do a limited subset of downloads, fed from a centeral database of posts.
Currently Im thinking TV Shows only although I may release more in the future.

Requirements:
- CURL
- Linux Dedicated or VPS Server
- A decent amount of space
- Atleast 300mb of memory
- Basic PHP knowledge
- Mysql
- A rapidshare account or 2 to facilitate the file download part of the upload process. I will not be supplying direct links of course! Maybe hotfile support soon.

Personally i'd never release something like that.

It's too valuable to be released for free, if at all.
I'd keep it to myself purposely so a load of newbs dont start sharing it everywhere and turning warez even more automatic than it already is.

I know most people will think differently but thats because they dont code, they just want it because they cant make it themselves.

But from the looks, it sounds easy for a decent PHP coder to make it. Anyway, SplitIcE, what you will be doing is encourage more remote uploading and make people more greedy for money preventing actual uploads.

ur reasoning is correct is but an easy counter reasoning is: u cant make antibiotics urself.....but that doesnt stop u from buyin em when ur sick....

ppl will always try to find a way to make life and work easier....the world wudnt be here if that werent the case.:D

i think too that releasing this wud make remoteuploading easier and leechers wud increase but arent leechers increasing already bcoz of paying filehosts...this script wud surely make life easier for 1* site owners who have a hard time uploading for their own sites now and also finding dedicated uploaders....

my point is both pros and cons shud be laid out b4 this is released.

Just Checked back something like this already other there but in Beta Version and this script is in beta and right now the owner stopped development. The bad thing about this script is that it uses alot of resources from the test me and my friend carried out but its a great piece of software.

Right now im testing it again on my windows server and will try to set it up. Bdw this software im talking about works both on windows server and linux server

Things like these should be never released to public. It's already quite fucked up with autoposters, no need to make it even easier for lazy kids.

Ive wanted to use this from the day you told me about it. I however, must agree with jmz. He has some wise words time to time.

The best of luck either way with your script. Would love to see it in action sometime.

cheers
