I think it's probably about time to start thinking about selling my website.
The website is entirely owned by me, and no-one else.
You will get everything... domain name, database, basically EVERYTHING.
ReleaseThread was originally registered with JustHost on 9th June 2010.
One year later I decided to move the domain to NameCheap and started buying various hosting services here on WJunction.

Premium Wordpress Theme - Cost me: $49.99

Each new post gets listed on Google's search engine within minutes.
I have also purchased traffic with TrafficForYou (Gavo's service). This can either continue, or stop - the choice is yours.

Various advertising spaces (one currently in use right now (banner)) sold for $20.00 - Expires 10th February.
Money from Filehosts - mainly Fileserve, as this is the only host that I used which paid me.
(Rapidshare gets a lot of downloads - a lot more than I expected)

I am the main poster at ReleaseThread.
Along with a few other posters. ".FX" has been active recently with the TV posts, as well as "Krystian" with the movies.
Some of the other editors go and return from time to time.


HOSTING DETAILS:
ReleaseThread.com is currently hosted on a VPS provided by KnownSRV (Best hosting that I have used by the way!! Thank You)
Cost of hosting: $45.95 USD per month.

Reason for sale:
I've been thinking about it for a while - just going back to downloading and no longer a uploader. Especially with the costs involved.
RDP / Hosting / Premium Accounts. - It all mounts up.

Also getting up early on the mornings just to post new content gets quite tedious sometimes. When I first made the website back in 2010, I had no intention of making money, it was more of just a hobby. The people that I have spoken to on messenger all know this to :)
Now... With all this going on with the file hosts at the moment, I just simply can't be bothered to keep changing and renewing to new premium accounts. I would rather just keep with Real-Debrid and have done with it :)

Well I can at least mention it. Sadly it's not my fault that Fileserve has stopped their affiliate / earning per download program. Still, there are plenty of other hosts that still support it I'm sure.

Like I said, you have the option of various advertising spaces which you could charge whatever you want.
Header / Sidebars / Footer / specific places within article pages.

I'm sorry but I'm not going to go through my complete Paypal history just to find the odd $20 here and there.

When the auction ends, the current highest bidder will WIN the website (as long as the reserve price is met).
I will not be mucking people around afterwards with "their price is higher - if you want it beat it" etc etc.
This is a auction after all.
If you are interested in buying the site, then BID for it.

I hope this is what your after.

I was having a hard time from Google for AGES... and I didn't have a clue what was going on. (you'll be about to see that from the posts that I created here on WJunction).

Until suddenly Google started to list me again - more or less instantly after new posts.

I then noticed that my automated poster (WP-ROBOT) for the XXX category had stopped working.
I re-enabled it, and Google started to hate me again ... So I have stopped it since.

I must have gone 9 months or so with Google hating my normal posts (TV / MOVIES / MUSIC etc) all Google would post was the XXX category.

DURING THIS TIME (of Google hating me), I purchased various services - traffic (as you discovered above) and also backlinking and other services cant remember the correct terminology.

Now that I have stopped WP-Robot, everything is back to normal Google wise :)

Don't sell it Ashleyuk1984! Just because all hosts are gone doesn't mean you have to sell.

Look at the brighter side.. You can keep your site up to date and provide rapidshare links. This will bring you huge traffic and your site will become one of the top warez blog.

Rest is up to you.
