This won't work unless the file host area is removed. If anyone were to look in the file host area they'd see this rule is broken ever 10 minutes. I know it's probably planned to be removed but introducing a rule before the area is removed is encouraging people to break the rules so just remove it now if your serious about the new rule.

As for over inflated ego moderators don't say report it as I could code a script and report 194,835 posts (and counting) but that would just piss you off further.

Dont know why the Oron Thread is still open?!its only for spam since weeks now becouse no support exist.
 
Good idea. I think WJunction should delete everything realted to filehosts, uploading for money and warez. This is Webmaster's Junction, not Warez.
 
if filehost section is removed from WJ then this can affect wj SE traffic ,
& there are many uploaders here hanging out just to visit that filehost section

now every filehost is down in us , so everybody is searching about them
& wj is gaining lot of traffic from it

This is not right time to remove those section ,
May be a month later :P

I don't think section got something to do with SPAM/repeat question..Follower & Breaker can be found in each forums..Removing a section will hurt both..to wj & to its lover.
Why not put a post limit ?...Something like user must have 50 or 100 post before they could start a thread or user must be active member for 15 or 30 days before they can start or post in particular section ?
 
If we weren't serious about a rule, we wouldn't have introduced it in the first place Mr Happy. The file host section is used for support purposes, we're not here to cater for illegal uploaders. Now you may state that illegal uploaders use the support section but I'm sure we have legal uploaders who are on WJunction that use the support sections.

Ah come on Hawk. You know what I mean. The rules aren't and can't be enforced. I'm not blaming the moderators. The reply below yours in the Latest Posts beside the shoutbox is one from a guy who got paid by UL by uploading illegal content. This is what I'm referring to.
 
WJ won't hold without filehost support.You believe that WJ has something to do with Webmaster??Not at all..NOT.

All traffic is for filehosts..If you lose this you will be just a hangout.Everyone know it..This forum is not used for Webmasters..Its for filehosts and only for that..

Remove the filehost section and this forum is dead.You all know it.Specially the admins,moderators etc.

What you will stay with??Threads about funny pics,youtube videos,what you ate yesterday..Nothing more.

But in the end..Its your choice..
 
discussion of warez is completely legal. Promotion of is another thing entirely. This forum was born from warez traffic, and almost every single user came here as a result of the warez discussion. You may as well close the forum and start again on a new domain to be honest. Even AlertPay has a customer support thread, openly and actively helping people earn from illegal activities.
 
yeah, the good part of WJ is not only in that filehost section, it's about being free to talk about anything, including warez. The main reason why i'm active ONLY on this board (there are plenty of forums for webmasters on the net, even much larger than wj) is that i don't see people here saying "oh! he is talking about warez! banned!".
i wanted to have a FREE hangout and business talk here and i believe many of you came here for the same reason. I don't think what staff here trying to make wJunction look like is a good idea.

WJ hasn't lost his old touch yet but will be in coming days..

Legal Warez ChitChat should be allowed here...
