You may not have heard of Referly, anyway the site acts as the "Affiliate Manager" so normally you may have a relationship with a merchant, in this case you have a relationship with Referly, they have the relationship with 1000's merchants, so they are one big affiliate, so essentially they can warrant higher commission rates for their users.
So for example with Amazon you could get 10% without having to reach 6000+ sales or whatever. There is no approval process and you can promote any of their merchants straight away.
