I don't know why you are all bitching about rapidshare to be honest. It IS the most stable and highest quality file host on the internet. They are WAY ahead of Hotfile/FileServe (maybe not on their offerings, but on the possibilities they have).

Don't forget THEY are the ones that introduced the pay per download system in the first place. I still proudly own a premium account (Im even a RS VIP) and I can't say I regret it.

At least with them I can max out my connection, while the rest of the file hosts fail to offer me that. You can obviously see the difference in new generation people and the old scene members. Most of the new people complain and want to earn from uploading etc..., it's total bullshit. If you upload, you do it because you want to share with the world, else you should just throw your goddamn computer out of the window and get a real job (If you haven't got one already).

If you are still studying, it's nice to earn a litte bit of extra money by uploading, but you could also just make a website (a blog) and post interesting news articles etc, get traffic, put Google Adsense or w/e on it and earn that way. The internet has endless of possibilities to earn... Just pick one, make it work, then scale it up to earn more

i completly disagree with you mate.

that shocked me big time: "Rapidshare is best in the business"

where do you get that from? ye it was maybe 1-2 years ago.

but now with all theyr stupid rules, like:

1. if you upload multiple copyrighted files your account get deleted without a money refund etc.
2. it sucks for free users (non-premium users) the download speed and waiting time are just terrible
3. i heard that they pay uploaders far worse then HOTFILE and FILESERVE.

so... no way that they are the best.

they are already far behind FS and HF for sure, for the warez scene.

also hotfile has more traffic then rapidshare already on alexa. so that tells you a lot too.

katz should make HF and FS the primary hosts i think. also MU is ok too. just not so good for uploaders as FS and HF are, but for downloaders MU is still one of the best.

also that's just my opinion on the leading filehosts at the moment.

Screw your pocket. You shouldn't be paid anyway. It's popular for the downloaders. If you don't like it then don't upload. People like downloading from the sites that do not pay/have a shit program for uploaders - megaupload/rs

RS has been a great host, but it was #1 due to the fact, people shared warez files. Now, when the new filehosts merged, with new business model, RS need to make some changes to get back on the tracks.

They are l33t.

They aint paying uploaders but still are able to get tons of downloaders & uploaders too...!

It will take a bit to defend RS by HF or other host...

RapidShare will always be the most known. Regardless of if they pay or not, they can hang with the hosts who pay.
