Originally it was never about the money. In my opinion, no uploader should be paid.

You, sir, should stay out of topics like these. You're just another cashwhore, amongst the thousand others out there. You flame the crap out of a filehost when they don't pay you and/or lock your account for infringing content. The filehosts themselves have had to report your flame posts, so don't deny that.

What has popularity got to do with quality of service?

Some of the bests sites I know aren't popular at all, in fact the majority are private. That doesn't mean they're not awesome.

1. they had theyr chance to be the number 1 ( and fucked it up with theyr stupid rules, etc. )
2. @WaReZ i can just lol till i die RS the best hosting in 2011 HAHAHAHAA no idea why you think so... they were the number 1 some years ago but not anymore... they are just not trusted anymore for uploading warez... and that's the most important thing for this community here. they delete/terminate your account and all your uploaded files if you upload multiple warez files, hotfile does it now too after the lawsuit.

for legal uploads rapidshare is ok, but we all know that the most traffic for filehosts still comes from warez... + much less legal files are uplaoded there then warez files.

don't know... maybe it's good for you because you are a premium user at rapidshare... but it's not that awesome for free users.

Are you guys idiots? Your complaining about a feature RS originally never had.

They introduced it, and for perfectly legitimate reasons (e.g not wanting to get shut down), they ended it.

Would you rather they went the way of Hotfile? RS ARE the best and will always remain the best. This is in relation to speed, customer service and everything in general.

Stop complaining they don't pay you and get a job ffs!

and here it's the first priority, to be able to allow warez files and not get deleted.

i said that for legal files upload RS is good, but not for warez.

anyways... that's just my opinion. ;)
 
I'm talking about getting paid, not having files getting deleted.

I'm well aware where I am, cheers for stating the obvious though. Perhaps you want to actually respond to my comment now, not just one you wanted to respond too (but wasn't there).

I tried to download as a free user, I can't even load the page fast.
with other hosts sush MU FS it loads very fast.
 
That may be. I don't think I've ever downloaded as a free user.

If I like a host, I tend to bye premium, simple. If you want free, go to torrents.

But I can see why other ppl would disagree.

Edit: Yes I am still with them. I am talking from experience, not out my arse.
 
Me too mate, you say they still best, Have you tried other hosts? As Prem?

I am with torrent but sometimes I try to use DIRECT for faster speed.
 
I have premium at RS, HF, MU, FSo, FS, Oron, X7, Megashares and the list probably goes on.

So yeh, I'm able to make a fair judgement,
