RapidDrive Integrates RapidShare With Your PC

RapidShare just released a new tool that integrates peoples RapidShare accounts with peoples Windows folders.

Those who use RapidDrive will notice an extra hard drive when they browse their computer files.

This drive shows all content hosted on RapidShare, and up- or downloading can be done from within Windows.

With RapidDrive, we are providing a tool that creates an even closer link between cloud storage and the PC environment, which makes it easier to manage files, RapidShare CEO Alexandra Zwingli comments on the announcement.

RapidDrive is an essential means of simplifying work processes, especially for customers who are regular users of RapidShare at work, she adds.

RapidDrive is only available to RapidPro subscribers at the moment.

If you look at the storage space that RS provides, its a pretty awesome deal to be honest. Unlimited storage for just 15$ per month. Yes, this feature should have been released ages ago but better late than never. right?

RS has unlimited space. None of their competitor provides that at the moment.
Best place to store and back up files.

Rapidshare: I've exceeded 2TB....

Rapidshare doesn't charge for amount stored.

Definitely not comparable...

You have to pay to use this as it's RapidPro only. What are you doing comparing free Dropbox, free Google Drive and a RapidPro account which is a paid?

Maybe because even though Google Drive is free, it does have paid options that don't compare with what rapiddrive offers. Afaik, dropbox plans start at $9.99 monthly which only comes with 100GB or so.
