Guys,
I'm thinking about purchasing a script that will basically auto download from torrent rss, create screen shots, upload to my file host accounst, and than finally post to my wordpress. The category I'm only doing this in is porn. The files that the script will download and upload varies, but it can be as much as 100gb at any given time if for instance there is a large siterip for that day. My question is, whats the best cheapest hosting solution for me? Can a semi dedicated server handle these task or do i require a full blown dedicated server? Mayb someone who has done something similar can shed light on this? Heres an example of my RSS auto download, today it downloaded mayb 20 torrent, probably about 17 of them are movies and clips which range from 500mb-5gb, and the other 3 torrents are basically siterips that are about 50gb (50 clips at 1gb each). It sounds u want to purchase sborg script if yes then there are really good hosts on this forum that provide dedicated sborg hosting and they are pretty cheap and i guess u only need the space for once when the files are uploaded to the respective file hosts then i guess they are removed from your server u need to have a good port that has a good and fast connection
 
^ actually not an sborg script, I currently have a sborg script, and it doesn't handle large files to well. I'm currently running the sBorg script on a pretty darn good VPS also, but for large siterips sBorg will alot of time crash the VPS. And also sBorg isn't 100% automated, you still have to put in the download link, description, title, etc
 
when downloading large quantities of say 1gb files, would it be more CPU intensive or ram? Are you sure these VPS can handle my types of download? The current VPS I have is 1gb right now, and anytime I try to download a large site rip through sBorg, it craps out
