If you're offering quality VPS services, how come your main Website is hosted on ThePlanet.com dedicated server (Yeah, I know that Hostgator servers are located in ThePlanet DC) with about like 350+ other websites ... I assume if you can offer VPS services, you can get yourself IP only for your site?

Jason, most hosts host their site elsewhere so incase of downtime, they don't get affected. Also, I don't see the need of a dedicated IP for your site, it's still the same thing.

@ItsmYarD - AnvilHost does not host their site elsewhere. If our customers have downtime, then we will as well.

I think Jason is just testing the Host's ability to respond, and see what kind of answer he will get:

A) Host will get angry, and unacceptable behavior will follow or a change in tense.
B) Host will explain with rubbish reason
C) Host will explain with a good reason, like the reason "ItsmYarD" stated.

Great job Jayson if that was your intent.

I just wished the host answered the question instead. None the less, I am most confused by what Drag said, because it contradicted all in which Drag complemented as "Well said"
