Okay, this is a basic description of my plan.
I have a $30/month hosting plan for now. I have AdultWatch installed on the site.
My mate and I are going to get the website to a point where we, as enthusiasts, would want to use our site.
Once it is at this point, we will visit every directory that will allow you to post porn websites. We will configure these entries to use our previously researched keywords and description.
Once the website is near maxing out the current server, we will change hosts to a more expensive plan.
Once hosting is in need of a dedicated server, my mate and I will put together a server where we will have self hosted videos and probably a CMS upgrade, the server will be located in the City where my mates co-worker has his servers.
Once the site is in this situation, paid advertising will occur. Hopefully by this time the site will be generating enough income to cover the rental feels and some paid advertising.

This is what I would love to happen but we all know shit never goes to plan.
Is there any steps that I have missed or any tips on what I already have?

Great thread a lot of information here has helped as I was looking into creating a porn site. Josh keep us updated on how all this goes.

As requested, here is an update.

The website is up and running. We have about 20 000 videos embedded sorted into categories. We have about 12 picture albums which we are working on every day to get as many as possible. After we upload a pic archive we post it on one forum and we will increase this to about 4 - 5 different forums as we become more confident with the content.

We have a few problems there last week with server configuration and the site was down for a day due to unknown causes.

We created a second wordpress website just for fun when the server was down but with no marketing that site is getting about 30 hits/day. The main one is topping 40 hits a day so far which isn't to bad I dont think. You can see the wordpress one here and the main one here. Let me know what you think. Any suggestions are welcome.
