I pretty much guarantee that your api will not stop my multi-poster. if it becomes popular it will get bypassed. I said the same thing to gavo. You should keep it to yourself, else it will inevitably become useless.

If we continue the conversation we probably start brawl,because i protect you cheat?
My API won't get much famous because only 30 people can use that plugin.

Jay, gavo was also able to stop / limit auto posters, so I think there is a "way" to do it.. Correct me if I'm wrong?

Also, I don't see the point why people sell phpbb3 mods as the whole phpbb3 is free, not like IPB or VB. I'm sure every coder can do something like you did and if not, they are hundreds of free phpbb3 mods that will help you prevent spam :)
 
Dont want to sound like an ass but this is the exact same reason why good mod makers dont make any for phpbb because people think like this "Also, I don't see the point why people sell phpbb3 mods as the whole phpbb3 is free" its the exact same with skins

Let me tell my opinion. Exactly because phpbb is free - it is not supported in protection well. PHPBB developers have to spend a lot of time doing that protection and time costs money!(i guess you know even that it is free they still take money from donations,ads and such things..)
I guess they've done their calculation that spending time for protection isn't worth it.
That's why i am here with a suggestion ;)

@pi0tr3k - yes there are hundreds of free protection mods,but many of them get into jayfella database for cracking :p
Plus ALL of them are tests which i am sure every user dislikes to solve.

The guy wasn't referring to multiposters


He said his mod stops spam bots from registering =) maybe you think your app is a spambot then <3


Its most likely a captcha plugin, but keycaptcha still works well.

@Gavo - Take a look at my above post - "Plus ALL of them are tests which i am sure every user dislikes to solve.".. That means my protection differs from that :D Nothing new added and visible to the user.
Otherwise i wouldn't sell

Guys i am ready to do the same API plugin for other forum scripts.
You can vote in here,which is your forum script and tell if you would like to use the API.
If a forum script gets min. 10 people then you will have it soon.
