I'm using it. It's pretty awesome, they've completely refactored the code and they're using composer and other PHP libraries now. The plugin system is also great, it means you can customize phpBB without needing to modify the actual source code, which makes it much easier to manage multiple customizations.

That sucks. Themes should be independent of core code and should not require updating on every release Silly phpBB....
