till now we were aware that people replicate banking etc sites and rob others... another way was they send "you've won lottery" emails and ask for some upfront payment.

NOW, since a week, i am getting a fuckin SMS on my cell phone FROM MY NETWORK PROVIDER... its a kinda mass massage, which is sent to EVERY IDEA [my provider] user in mumbai i believe..

how fucked up is it now? it says that i have won 7,00,000 pounds and asks me to contact on some hotmail account. These shitty companies don't even care whats sent in the sms'es... just pay them for mass sms and your done.

it's an damn old news -_- like 2 year old

it's not from the companies -_- (use common sence)

You probably didnt read the thread properly. THESE ARE FROM COMPANIES. I can prove it. They are coming FROM companies :).

they cannot be ..... y would a company do it .. and if you want to know then listen .... there are like thousands of such sms packs sold and ppl can write any company name they want and the recipient recieves it in that name as the sender -_-
 
It happends to my "Voda Fone" and "Airtel" networks in india as well. Providers just want the money.!! One day news channels will clean their "A$$e$$" then they would say it was done un intentionally shit!
 
Just an info for some of you that dont know me properly.

i own an offline company which is an IT Security Consultancy. I am meeting my lawyer tomorrow to get a law which concerns these shits and probably sueing the company. Do not want to write more about it here right now as I am bound to
