Permalinks help Yoast wordpress seo theme

Hi Wjunction members!

Yesterday I began use the Yoast wordpress seo theme!
I don't know how can use the permalink option.
I would like to change my permalink default to /%postname%/
This review I was read:http://yoast.com/articles/wordpress-seo/
but I don't know how use. I install the redirection plugin too!
I'm beginner! Somebody write me step by step what and how can change my permalink?

I use /%postname%.html for classic-movie.net

Just go to Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks and choose Custom Structure then add this in textbox - /%postname%.html

You use :
/%category%/%postname%/
It get category name and post name.

go to Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks add /%category%/%postname%/ then add that code to .htaccess ,or CHMOD 777 .htaccess and save permalinks then CHMOD back to 644
