Paypal vs Google checkout

Well what are the reasons why can't we take Googlecheckout as a Paypal alternative ? What are the features Googlecheckout missing which Paypal has ?

google checkout charges the seller £7 when a customers card issuer requests a chargeback.

This means we have to pay £7 every time someone makes a fraudulent payment. I've contacted google about this but they're not very responsive as usual.

Paypal on the other hand do not charge for reversed transactions.
