It may be smart to be looking for errors in Facebook's code.

Then you can earn good money if Facebook is the tip-receiver.

So far the company has spent around 40 000 dollars to pay people who have reported technical difficulties in connection with the community.

You should only report things that can be abused for example the code I've described above.

A good, thorough report, of course.

They pay a maximum of $500 per error so far I have understood.

Not quite as simple as that. I can't be bothered to get technical about it but in short facebook now does checks that make that type of exploit useless.
