Password Protect Directories

If i user/password protect directories like acp and mcp and /styles. Will phpbb stop working correctly or what?

dont protects styles or everyone that goes to your site will be asked for that password.

If you do it to styles, it will request a user and password everytime it tries to load an image/css/template file. However, admin and mod directories are fine to htaccess.

if someone rips your style you should be glad that people like it lol i would still be pissed though

you will never be able to protect from a good ripper but just chmoding your files will keep the n00bs out
