I'm just waiting for the opportunity to switch to pps from ppd on oron, gotta wait 7 days for some reason have you had any success with either of them?
@jezhead: FileSonic and Oron require users to wait at least 7 days in between of changing their payment plan. So, today is Tuesday, lets assume you have just changed your payment plan to PPD: You will have to wait until next Tuesday before you can change it back to PPS or PPS fixed $10 or whatever you prefer.
It's really hard to tell which one is better for porn content. I guess this really depends on whether you share your porn in forums, on blogs or on your personal website.
If you wanna share your content on popular forums and blogs, i would definitely go with FileSonic since Oron is banned on most popular forums (except for forumophilia).
MisterL: is it 7 days from the day you joined them or 7 days after you uploaded your first file? My account renewal date is June 17 as i paid for the month with Oron, would that not mean i should have been able to have the option to change from ppd to pps yesterday?
thanks
Oron PPS...Just pornbb is enough to generate good revenue...all depends on what u are posting...get stuff from directly xxx sites and u will see results instantly...just leech the same stuff again and again...and no good result...if u wanna more...i am just a pm away.
It should be 7 days since the last time you changed your payment plan. If you register on FileSonic / Oron, first thing you usually do is to set a payment plan.
Anyways: If you want to find out how much longer you're gonna have to wait until you can change your payment plan, just try changing it and the system (at least at filesonic) should provide information on how much more days you will have to wait.
I started this topic because something is not clear:
1. Oron counts any rebill/renewal not as new sale, so they will pay for every extension, renewal max. 55% (or 30% with 70-30PPS plan). They counts only brand new premium users as sale. Old premium users are always counted as rebill.
2. How does count filesonic if somebody got automatical rebill or manual renewal? Do they count every renew/rebill as new sale?
If yes than FSO would be much better for PPS plan.
I don't think filesonic pays for rebills/renewals but there' are things that most people overlook.
Filesonic charges in dollars for premium accounts while oron charges in euros. That makes it harder to get sales with oron because a primium account will cost ~14.50 dollars using current exchange rates.
Some users complain that sales dropped when oron changed to euros.
Another issue, maybe also important, is content availability. With oron, members will only find porn while it is easy to find the latest music and movie realeases on filesonic.
This is more for your buck.
So from my personal expereince, it is easier to sell filesonic accounts, unless you have something unique, really hard to find.
Where did you get this information from? Are you sure?
So you say that filesonic pays only for brand-new premium customer (?)
That would be pretty strange, because FSO doesn't pay for premium users in the PPD plan either. So this would mean that once FSO induced the users to buy premium, FSO doesn't have to pay any more for these users revenue for the uploaders (!?) :O
So we would fighting for less and less possible premium users in the future.
