I have a little question. Does anyone here on wj has experience with running OpenVZ on a OVH dedicated server?

i am using OpenVZ on OVH ..

OVH Are Good. There 100mbps server aren't so good. there sister companys kimsufi offer good hardware but No raid and shared 100mbps port so you get around 50mbps. if i was going with them i'd get the 1gbps. with KVM. also remove the SSH keys they put in to gain access otherwise they go in if they find anything illegal even if your client is hosting it and you didn't know they cancel contract and put it in rescue mode.

you can run OVZ on OVH but not with their default kernel
you must compile your own kernel or reinstall your OS

anyway, that is all working. do you have any experience with the vRack or RIPE stuff?

Thelen, As far as I'm aware OVH allocate on a per server basis ? I am not certain. Maybe a quick call to them would clear this up for you ?

Yea I'll see when I get a couple servers. Routing the failover to the server is a case of assigning, I'm fairly sure you do the same with vRack and RIPE.
