Hello all,

I am seeing here on the forum a lot of people own a blogs/websites with adult content..

I have a couple of questions:

What about these types of websites?
How do they generate the traffic?
Do you need to make SEO for them?
Are they profitable?
What do i need to start a blog with an adult content except domain & hosting?

What about these types of websites? - They are adult websites which you'll need to view alone. It is so sad.

How do they generate the traffic? - By posting unique amateur content and/or siterips along with excellent SEO.

Do you need to make SEO for them? - Yes, of course.

Are they profitable? - Depends on how you monitize them. It is definitely profitable.

What do i need to start a blog with an adult content except domain & hosting? - PC/Laptop/Smartphone/Tablet :| Apart from one of these you will need content, a nice theme for your site and an unique posting style.
 
Hello Rox, thanks for replying on my thread, i was little bit confused about these types of websites, i see a lot of these on this community asking for link exchanging.

How can i start to make profit from these? I guess by uploading pics or videos where is allowed, or how? Does it takes a lot of time managing and updating everyday these sites?

I suggest you first start posting unique content and get some traffic before you even think about earning. This is warez niche, you do not earn like adsense (more money with less visitors). First get traffic, then you can create a thread for earnings.

Updating content can take time if you don't know how to do it, I suggest you make atleast 20 posts daily.
 
First of all you need a good stable offshore host. Which is allowed you to create adult site.
But it's depend on which types of adult content you want to share at your site.
Maximum hosts are not allowed to share any kind of illegal porn(Child Porn).
And finally, You definitely need to post unique content. And maximum time available on the site.

If you wish to really make money out of this then I suggest you get ready to bare losses for atleast 4-5 months.
The worst mistake everyone in this field does is use popads(or any ad), adfly/linkbucks links.
Those things are unequivocally annoying. And I would suggest you don't implement any of these for atleast a year.
There are several well established competitors in this niche, and if you are a new entrant, you need to do something new, something different and offer higher consumer satisfaction then others. This can be achieved without implementing those annoying ads.

However after 1 month or so, you can start offering VIP section from which people can subscribe to. These are not annoying and real ways to making money. Just go to redtube without adblock plus and you will see how annoying it is. But people still go there because its now an established site and has good content.

This is what you need to focus on:

-Consumer Satisfaction
-Good overall experience
-Uninterrupted browsing
-Content, this is the most important one
-SEO

Okay now I have a clear idea about these types of websites and now I know how these websites operate. I want to start with a free blog on tumblr (i believe that tumblr allow this)... would be any disadvantage to begin a SEO campaign with a subdomain?

However, what worries me is the content, you will most definitely have to borrow from somewhere so it will not be so original...
 
Get a domain! Doesn't really cost much and is good. Since I assume all the content would be warez, Tumblr is not what you want.
You will need offshore hosting.
And yes there's a disadvantage in terms of SEO. You will lose all the rankings your tumblr site has generated when you move to a private domain(which you will have to some day).
