Hey Guys

Firstly, I know that such Threads has been opened serveral times but We from DivXMov.Net want to do business we are not going to just open a Thread for Disscution or Suggestions just for fun .

Well , as I said we are at this moment looking to open a File Hosting Service for users who didn't work with Video Hosts , We will launch it at the end of this month as we got already some new servers ready .

We launch the following Features with it :


- 150GB Space for every registred user
- 500MB Max Filesize
- 2.000 KB/s Download Speed for Visitors ( or maybe more )
- No Premium Accounts it will be a Free Service like DivXMov.Net

For Affiliates we will set a limited number of Uploaders may be between 10 & 20 Uploaders to check firstly If we can get enough revenue to pay ALL UPLOADERS .

We do not want to spend more than we get only if it's urgent that's why we will set the limit we didn't want to scam any one or ban accounts for no raison or just for requesting Payment like some others do .


Well for Affiliates we will provide PPD ONLY as we will not sell any premium accounts
We are thinking about set the PPD rate to 3$ per 1000 ( No Unique ) Downloads


What does No Unique means ?

If you Upload a 1GB file and splitt it to 100MB Parts you will get 10 Valid Downloads when a downloader has downloaded all 10 Parts.

Payments will be done every 15 Days with a minimum payout of 20$ .

So many new hosts are popping and most of them only last a few months, the main reason is they offer a service they can't afford:
-to high PPD rates just to attract users
-high download speed (for first week or so)
-files stored forever (until they change it to 30 days after few weeks)

My suggestion is to start small with low PPD rates, 30 to 60 days for file storage, decent download speed.
Better you increase those over time, if you can afford, than to decrease them.

Well , That's why we want to offer firstly small rates 3$ per 1K downloads
a good download speed for Free Users should be no problem as we have already extremly high Servers ( we will offer between 2.000KB/s & 5.000KB/s speed )
File Storage time will be 30 Days after the last download

I think u have not fund that why u have very bad affiliate plan.first arrange capital around 3000 k only for first 2 month.than after you need arrange more capital.because i know starting with in 2 month you dont earn more.If you want really any help and interested for starting any file hosting.pm me.
And also u dont mention here your payment gatways.
 
But how´re you going to monetize it? People use JDownloader so ads are discarded and you said it´s gonna be a freemium filehost so you wont get revenue from premium users...

I don't think that Jdownloader will cause any big problems in this case .
Maybe 2% or up to 5% of lose nothing else

For Downloads via Jdownloader the Uploader well get no revenue for the downloaded file as We will get no revenue for it too
Premium or Paid Solution will cause always just problems like now you can see by yourselft what's happening with almost 70% of all File Hosts who are Selling Premium accounts

Exemple :
From 10.000 Users only 2500 can use Jdownloader and the rest will download from the website normal
It's also OK not excellent but OK for the Uploaders & for us

To keep all things simple, if you build something like mediafire but:
- Not ban accounts for warez.
- Max filesize 500MB
- Decent upload/download speed.
- Offer PPD affiliate program.

With previous things you succeed, you can every 15 days that people will use you service. From my point of view, the most important part is take care of the speeds and not ban accounts.

Nowadays if people not use hostings like mediafire or similar is because uploader not upload into this accounts because they ban.

^^ I agree, as an uploader i hated mf when they deleted my account with just a "problematic" file (Not copyrighted, it was a fanmade patch)

Maybe you can sell unlimited storage, for user who doesn't have a lot of downloads. :)

We will ban accounts only for 2 raisons : CP or if a user use our Service for Backup also abusing our HDD's with 100GB without any downloads.
Max filesize is like I writed in my first post : 500MB exactly or maybe 1GB
Upload Speed will be not limited you can reach up to 1Gbps
Download speed will be between 2.000 KB/s & 5.000 KB/s
PPD Will be 3$ for 1000K
We will store files 30 Days from the last download

i just like the whole 1 kb cauz i upload small stuffs :D

P.s will it be 3$/1000 for all countries ? or tires :'(
