Hiring Onsite SEO for my website

I need some onsite SEO done to my website, I'll admit I'm not very good at it so this is why I am looking for someone that has quite a bit of knowledge in this department. My website is powered by Wordpress.

Hi Krazeek,

I see a number of things that could be cleared up on your website.
Not only do you have a larger amount of links on each page -- You also have the upper amount of out-bound links on each page also. This is hurting your onsite SEO drastically.

Your pagination setup is actually optimal, but when considered with the above, Google isn't even reaching those links to begin crawling your website's deep content; it's already crawled it's maximum amount of links before it's hit the middle of the page I am sure.

The are numerous little things such as the RSS feed, and the actual posts themselves which can be redone with SEO in mind. You might even want to reasses your keyword targeting. Your target keyword right now only yields 9,900 monthly searches, even if you ranked well.

So what do you propose I do? Those categories are all the tv shows I post and I use an external image hosted to take load off the server.
 
lol, he's just trying to make some sales from his backlinks service. Just look at rlslog/rlsbb, scnsrc...etc. All have dozens of links on the site, all using external image hosts without the nofollow nonsense, yet all get shitload of traffic from google.
 
I did not know there was a set amount of links you could have on your side menu before it started to hurt your seo?

And for the images, why is that a problem?
 
It's not a problem at all. About the links, google recommends to stay below 100 links. But, since these are your categories, you can't just go ahead and delete them. Looking at successful sites having more than 100 links, I'd say it's fine.

I only mentioned a few things that could be cleared up. Most of them have to do with links. Inner links. Of his website's infrastructure. Perhaps this is where you are mistaken.

Things just got a little more humorous from my perspective when I realized this 'inspection' of mine was after he 'hired' someone to do this already. Anywho.

In regards to linking to the image, you should place rel="nofollow" .. Otherwise Google will be going to their website everytime it indexes one of your website's with an image.
This is improving their offsite SEO, and creating a relatively useful backlink for that image website, and negatively impacting yours.

If you did not have many OUT BOUND LINKS, this may not be of concern.. However I had quickly counted 12 outbound links per page, due to your sidebar/footer. Including more would not be preferable.

In regards to managing your categories, it's not simple, as you would be losing out on plenty of keywords in attempt. Or you can hope it gets the content first..

Krazeek is one of my most common customers, I don't think I need to push anything on me. I only responded to his inquiry because of him being such a customer. I don't provide this type of service regularly, and I certainly don't install plugins for money. Nothing important to contribute in a new post since Krazeek sent a PM.

RT, would it be better to delete all categories and just make a tv shows category and use tags instead?

Or keep the categories but get rid of them from the sidebar and put them on a page and link to that page?

Not really. The way you got your site structured is good, specially for users.
 
How about giving it time to get back on its feet? don't let people scare you. Number of links on page is the least of your worries. You've just got the site back online this month.
 
Just concerns me that I have as of right now 4,554 Not found and 369 URLs submitted, 55 URLs indexed. That is what worries me, I have almost NO organic traffic at the moment but a few a day. I focus on trying to be top website to release tv shows quickly, but it doesn't feel like it pays off when I release a tv show first but some other site gets Page 1 when they release it 20 minutes later than I do.

you do not want 4000 backlinks indexed in one day, and nothing after that...
All backlinks are leading to your main page, no deep linking...
No wonder there's no organic traffic...
 
Both on the same date too! Such URLs are absent on my list however. :(

edit: Google would be indexing the image on the image host. Not his website. :S

My links are almost exclusively deeplinks, no more leading to the homepage than any other.
Which means he did not ping them / other services are sending a ping to theirs after being created.
