Same as any domain registration fees normally, and you can worry bout the payment after a year, till then, no problemo.

maybe not us, but it's very usefull to indians to get there small bussiness online :P

you can make too much customer with that.
charge 1000rs. and make a website for your client.
1st year will be free. If he want to continue then he'll pay for renewal. Nothing to loose.
