What's OnLive - its a cloud computing, gaming-on-demand platform: the games are synchronized, rendered, and stored on remote servers and delivered via the Internet.

PC or Mac Minimum Requirements MINIMUM SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Internet Connection: 3 Mbps wired connection or Wi-Fi connection
  • Operating System: Windows 7 or Vista (32 or 64-bit) or XP SP3 (32-bit), Mac OS X 10.5.8 or later
  • Computer: Most PCs and netbooks, all Intel-based Macs
  • Screen Resolution: 1024x576
Available Platforms: PC, Mac, and Ipad.

My Reviews: I rate onlive gaming 10/10. I love using onlive to play games which are being streamed off there server it's great for someone like me who unable to goto to the game stores or doesn't have a great internet connection to download games from steam after purchasing them. With OnLIVE I can just add my credit card to there billing center then goto > Online > Market Place > Click purchase on the game I'm waiting to purchase or maybe just play it for 3 days, 5 days or a Full Play pass. Another thing I like about OnLive is you can demo the game for upto 30 mins for free before purchasing you're not forced to purchase it after the demo is over you can just re-opened backup the game in start playing it again.

I forgot to mention this when I first posted this you can use any USB controller to play games included The Xbox360 controller. However you're required to download the driver from the Microsoft Website.

Is this a honest review or a copy paste? I've read about onlive months ago and was blown away by the insane possibilities. Not even proper hardware required! Play xbox 360 gfx quality games on an iPhone :D

This is my honest review from my personal experiences.
 
I read something about this a while back but had forgotten, will take a look again at this! Although, I still think I'd prefer to actually run the game on my PC since it isn't half bad and can actually run the games!

It's not IP restricted anymore anyone outside of the USA can now play it this mostly depends on your ISP in your latency to there server in the USA. I would recommend downloading the PC application in see if you're able to connect a few people on my list that are from the UK have been able to get onlive working in there location.
 
Dudeeeeeeeeee so I buy a controller, an OnLive subscription (when the news post came, it said they would have a 1 year USA beta) I can play these awesome games at my ipad? :D is that device coming out yet where you can directly hook it to your tv?

To buy there console that's optional you can download there PC or MAC client which is free. Just visit http://onlive.com - Sign up for an account once your account has been created they'll redirect you to a page to download there application for your PC Or Mac that will allow you to play games. As far as the software for iPad it has been released already you can download it from the link I've listed below.

However you can only watch people play games at this time only has it's not gameplay ready yet it's still in beta testing it was just released December 7th, 2010.

I don't believe they've FiFA11 yet on there server I can check in see around for you. You'll only need the minum of requirement which is listed above as all games are being streamed off there server meaning no download is required to play the game.
 
What are the graphics like? Can you play on 1920x1200 and does it look like actual PS3 graphics? If so, I'm subscribing instantly

The graphics are great even though I just have a prebulit in graphics card. I'm streaming live right now playing Onlive you can see this by viewing my Teamviewer
