Hi,
Sorry for incovenience, our support system was down for some hours due to some internal problems,
Now its up, so please open a support ticket regarding your problems,
In case the main website goes down to or the site loads very slow, you may also sent us a e-mail to: support@offshorewebspace.net
The recent downtime(s) only affected our main website and SRV-2, this was because we had a heavy DDOS attack.
Please also be notified of the planned downtime 19 March regarding the datacenter migration, you can read more information about this here: http://support.offshorewebspace.net/
I dont know why offshore always be target to DDOS attack? same problem i can see for nodegurus host too.. they already down for 8 days till now... so sad..
90% of all the attacks made towards our server all origin from the USA, and just checked the current firewall statics for today and it's already above 1000+ and once again all from the USA...
why you just order new server with ddos protection and your problems are solved, also do you plan offer to shared hosting for http://clip-bucket.com/ with FFMPEG stream option like here http://clip-bucket.com/hosting
1.
Well if we do that the prices will have to be raised to since those synflood protections are not cheap. And maybe you did not notice but we aim for cheap.
2.
Server will be upgraded from 100mb/sec uplink to 1gb/sec you will start noticing the differences soon enough.
3.
We do not/will not provide FFMPEG shared hosting (streaming) servers, FFMPEG requires way more server resources when you start hosting bigger sites.
4.
We do allow FFMPEG & streaming on our virtual private servers.
