Software error:

Can't connect to Mysql server. at Modules/DataBase.pm line 28. For help, please send mail to the webmaster (webmaster@files2k.eu), giving this error message and the time and date of the error.

They are back but I checked some of my files & after I enter the captcha,I get a white page that says No File.

Am I the only one ?

Up to now I have been happy with this host.Sure the speed dropped a few times & there have been a few glitches but it seems they are only down long enough to fix a problem because when they come back online the speed is usually better and any other problem is fixed.

Compared to other places I've tried when they first opened,this place is handling issues a lot better than the other places did.

I just uploaded a file to see what would happen & when I tried to download it I get the same white No File page as I do with my other files.

Announce that due to increased flow of visitors coming to our server gave files2k.

The good thing is that we increased resources x4 or more.

The downside is that we had to move us on 10x1TB SATA2 RAID 6 total storage and all the uploaded file will have been lost unfortunately.

FILES2K new configuration is:

HP DL120G6/Intel Xeon X3440
HP ProLiant DL120
4x Intel Quad Core X3440
64GB DDR3
10x1TB SATA2
1.000Mbps Unmetered (Volume network)
LOCATION: Netherlands

!! Earnings and Users are in place !!


To remember: I invested all the money in resources, if we can get money for maintenance we have to give up news resources and not rule out closing files2k.eu.

Thanks for letting us know what's going on.
When it was giving ans SQL database error earlier I thought maybe you had to do a sql recovery or something & that was causing the problem.
It sucks that we have to re up our files but increased traffic is a good thing.


Just a little advice though.You need to keep things going well and eliminate as much down time as possible.People won't buy premium if they have the impression you have a lot of problems.
I know there are growing pains when you're just starting and I've explained it to my downloaders but with so many places coming & going these days,they are getting leery of spending money on someplace brand new.

I can tell you're for real because you are customizing a lot of little things instead of leaving it as is, but downloaders don't notice that stuff.

Thank you understand how things work. Resources are very expensive, and that every man's need for invested profits. Not all investment income falls. We remain here to answer questions.
