Ok Ive wanted to re-do this site for a long time, but circumstances haven't left me with a lot of time, and next year is shaping up to be worse. This was my baby in its hey day, but now its been neglected for over a year. Not that it would take too much to bring it back, just re-start the auto-queue bot and traffic would come back to an extent.

1aEyr

(huge gaps are just times when GA wasn't in use)

Site: NexusDDL
Domain: NexusDDL.com (DynaDot 17-jan-2009 - 2015/01/17) - 3 years old!
Also included: NexusBabes.com (NameCheap Wed 03/23/2011 - Sat 03/23/2013)
Google Results: About 1,840,000 results
Earning? Site has earnt over $10k during the year of 2010 when it was active (proof? the sites I advertised with no longer even exist... CPA)

If you dont know this site, you havent been in the scene for very long. Huge amounts of aged back links, custom script, custom design.

I would rather sell to someone who is going to do something with the site, it was my baby that I no longer have the time (work) to finish.

Bidding starts at $300
BIN: $550
Owner Proof: http://www.nexusddl.com/owner.txt
I have a reserve and am quite willing to accept a no-sale at this point.

What you get:
Script (needs a little work/bug fixing due to age), Installation assistance (best effort, I will explain what you need and assist), Domains, what ever you request as a condition of sale.

Hosting requirements:
A VPS at minimum, was always built to work with sphinx (high performance) search and configured for an environment with a little freedom.

In the interest in full disclosure I am posting my chat I had in the SB about nexus. Just a FYI for the most of the past 12months the site has been offline and for the whole last 12months atleast not accepting submissions.

350$ USD including all fee's (PayPal)

If you agree to complete all coding (100% ready for public use) for the site within 3 weeks of successful transaction and explain how the new system would work (Categorizing ect...) in detail & set it up on my server.

C'mon show some respect..
If he had the time to make it "100% ready for public" he wouldn't be selling it!

What has respect got to do with any of this, I am making him a conditional offer, he is free to reject it if he wants and i will cease bidding. Business is business.

I am not asking him to create content, promote, advertise & engage users, I'm asking for all coding to be done on it otherwise it could become an extremely costly project for anyone to finish unless they have exceptional coding knowledge as coding needs to be efficient and secure therefore that limits him to only a few potential buyers, a common person with mediocre knowledge of php like me would be able to complete the project but it would most likely be extremely bloated and cause me a lot of issues in the long run.

I just want to go off-topic for a sec, when I used to submit to NexusDDL, it was always in the top 3 refs, they were sending big traffic. This site has a lot of potential, trust me.

Thanks pi0 and Robin H, well put and correct. I dont have the time to make this site what it should be, thats why I am selling. However due to popular demand (Private BIDs and Nickson) I will include (FREE) up to 10% of the auction value as development time at a reduced rate of $20/h.

e.g Sell for $600 get at-least 3 hours of bug fixing for FREE (you can specify the issues you want fixed). I may even be willing to put in 20% of the value depending on the request and value of sale (larger).

This doesnt include setup, which I will guide you through of course, or if its an empty debian VPS (Im sorry I dont want to be responsible for the wellbeing of other sites I know nothing about) I will do the setup for you.

Too bad to see you selling your baby. I hope the site get's in good hands.

Ontopic: Could you give an estimate on how much DMCA's you receive per week?

To the automated remover system. Unknown, it just happens although its very few (less than 20 a week).

To my email, 1 a month (whois email). To the ISP wouldn't know they don't get forwarded.

Shocking to see you selling this site...

I remember when it was once one of the top DDL's... :)

Gave me a lot of traffic when i was a regularly submitting with dhi-forumerz.. :D

Site has great potential :)

CPA sites that pay per sale (sharingzone is the only one that ive used that is still active).

You can use adbrite or CPX as well, both of those pay quite well but CPA is very lucrative.
