Hi,
Our team has created a new kind of downloading + streaming application.
It downloads files and allows user to watch videos as well.
If user forwards the video, the download point also shifts.

This works on ANY video/audio/general file.
ANY video player or application can be used open the file.
This works on all websites (you might need to use flashgot to generate direct links).
Thought about adding torrent support, but left that for future.
Works on youtube.
The video link is converted into a virtual file and opened in VLC. If you forward the video, the download point also shifts.
The previous buffer is not deleted unlike in youtube.
This doesn't make an http server to stream the file to VLC like utorrent or Vuze.
Instead this makes a kernel level virtual filesystem. (Hint : think Daemon tools, IsoMagic, FUSE for linux etc)
This allows it to support any file format and any video player out of the box.
It can also merge 001, 002 type of files virtually, allowing you to watch and download from split links as well.
