Any ideas?
I can do web design/gfx design and code.
I was thinking maybe partnering up with a mate and making an awesome CMS type thing. Thing is would anyone buy it, and if so what kinda script would you guys wanna buy?

Making a good CMS would get you 2k easy. Maybe not just on wjunction, but if you made a CMS you could go around emailing business's and stuff. The big business's are always wanting a good CMS to manage their content with. I currently do work experience with a company in australia that earn $25,000 per project because of how good their CMS is.
 
wow nice, but that gave me an idea. Maybe if we made one for business websites, it would of course need to look real nice and be really easy to use, but if we could pull it off, itd work really well.

Or maybe schools/clubs? Plenty of schools have bad websites. Cheers for the idea.
 
lol..honest advice..just jump into different freelancing sites..bid on projects,deal with web masters or clients..get projects.,.. finish them in time and get paid..thats it..

Earning 2k..depends on you and your activities..

one CMS can be used for many sites, e.g. the one where I work has been used on a real estate site, home loan site, car company site, food sales site, see how their all different but have been used with the one CMS?

I can help big with CMS. i'm pre good at coding, well really good. Plus I work with a company that has their own so ye.

Sign up as a designer, its easy, business's list things they want e.g. Logo, they give you a brief, you post a Logo and go up against other people and on the deadline the business chooses the winner, if you win they pay a good $400 or so .

Itd be a bit of work, and we'd need to market well but i can manage that, hopefully the guy i got in mind is up to it.
edit: iL, would you be expecting to split 50/50? If so ill need to choose between you and the other guy?

depending on how much work it is
like if i do 80% of the work hell yeah
but if its even amount of work i wouldnt expect 50/50,
say we make a totaly of $5000 id be happy with $500
 
if its an even amount of work, it wouldnt be right paying you only 500 if we make 5k, id pay you at least 1k. But ive gotten a tonne of offers, so ill get back to you once my exams are done :D

yah, thats why itd be awesome having you on the team, youd know how it all works. But yeah, realistically if we want this done in under a month i might need to get a team together. Dunno, i'll see i guess, tty after my exams
