At work we use a clock in system to monitor people's hours. The system works great as it streamlines the process and makes things very automated. However recently some people have been taking advantage of this system. The number you have to call to clock into work takes into account the number you are calling from. For instance if you're calling from the main office it'll be XXX-XXX-1050 while a different office may be XXX-XXX-1078. What has recently occurred is people abusing this system by spoofing their number to one of the offices to clock into work while not being there.

Sites similar to one's like this are being used to stay home, and clock in at work as if they were there. (https://www.spoofcard.com/)

So my question to you today (if anyone can help) is how can I prevent this from happening in the future?

I did some research earlier, and found it illegal as to what they were doing per FCC. I however did not find a spot to add our phone number to to prevent this spoofing from occurring.

Any help, (even an email address I could request removal from) would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

i doubt u can prevent spoofing.. all u can do is contact these popular spoofing providers and pay them or blackmail them or somthing to blacklist ur particular number so as people are not able to use them

Just give your staff verbal warnings, then written, and then if they continue abusing the system, dismiss them.
After the first set of verbal warnings, I'm sure your staff will think twice about doing it if they know that they are being caught out.
